This role sits across two teams — Marketing and Product Engineering — and requires the ability to context-switch between brand-driven creative work and precision product UX. The person in this role will be highly collaborative, working daily with the Creative Head, Frontend Lead, Mobile Lead, and Product team. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Design System – Build Invisia's unified component library in Figma — covering all reusable UI elements for web and mobile, with consistent use of design tokens (colour, spacing, typography) – Maintain and version the design system; communicate updates to engineering and creative teams clearly – Ensure design components map cleanly to frontend implementation; work with the Frontend Lead to align on token structure and component props – Audit existing designs for consistency against the system; propose and lead consolidation efforts UX Prototyping & Product Design – Design and prototype key product flows — booking, search, onboarding, user profile, and post-booking experience – Produce annotated, dev-ready handoff specs using Figma Dev Mode; leave zero ambiguity for the frontend and mobile engineers – Rapidly prototype A/B test variants for high-traffic landing pages and conversion-critical flows – Apply UX best practices consistently: error states, empty states, loading skeletons, responsive behaviour, and accessibility Marketing & Creative Support – Produce Figma templates for the Graphic Designer and Content team — social post templates, email layouts, and campaign landing page mockups – Collaborate with the Creative Head on brand-aligned web asset design – Ensure marketing landing pages are designed with conversion intent — clear hierarchy, strong CTA placement, and mobile-first layout MUST-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE – 3–6 years of product or UX design experience with Figma as the primary tool – Expert-level Figma proficiency — components, variables, auto-layout, interactive prototyping, and developer handoff – Proven experience building and maintaining component-based design systems – Strong understanding of responsive design and how Figma specs translate to real frontend code – Portfolio demonstrating both product UX design and marketing-facing design work NICE-TO-HAVE – Experience designing for SaaS platforms or marketplace products – Working knowledge of HTML/CSS that informs handoff quality – Experience conducting usability testing and incorporating findings into design iterations WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE ✓ A unified design system is live in Figma and adopted by both engineering teams within 60 days ✓ Developer handoff quality improves — the number of design clarification requests per sprint drops significantly ✓ All new feature prototypes are handed off with complete annotations, responsive specs, and interaction notes ✓ Marketing landing page templates are in use by the Content and Creative teams ✓ The design system documentation is comprehensive enough that a new engineer can understand it independently KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Time-to-Prototype Handoff Quality INTERVIEW PROCESS Conversion Uplift 1.
