Job Responsibilities
Working with the segment Business Information Security Leader, serve as the primary security subject matter expert to programs and product delivery teams to provide security-by-design support.
Provide security solution support across a broad range of security domains through:
Understand business needs and comprehend associated threats.
Publish security requirements.
Provide engineering guidance and solution patterns to a cross functional engineering organization.
Lead security design reviews.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (please indicate if ‘preferred’)
Education:
College degree or relevant experience in the cyber security engineering field.
CISSP
Cloud Certification for (Azure, GCP preferred)
AI certifications

Summary
The Secure Solution Advisor (SSA) will be a member of the Office of the CISO (oCISO) organization and a member of enterprise security architecture within the Resiliency and Response team. This role is responsible for executing security-by-design processes to support the delivery of safe and secure solutions that support the company to accelerate patient therapies to market. This role partners closely with the Business Information Security Leader (BISL) and product delivery teams to enable business technology teams to deliver secure products. By participating in agile ceremonies and providing on-demand engagement, the Advisor will be responsible for understanding the business use cases and delivering security requirements. Using threat modeling to understand architecture risks and provide security engineering guidance to the business technology teams. This role will require a broad and strong understanding across multiple security domains with deep understanding of secure development and product design on multiple cloud platforms. Using a risk-based and data driven approach, the Advisor will assess initiatives for security engineering risks across the full technology stack and provide solutions to address those risks. Reporting to the Executive Director of Security Architecture, the role is aligned to Syneos Health business segments and serves as the front-line advisor. In addition, this role will also represent the oCISO representation in enterprise architecture governance. The ability to comprehend technical and business implications to security directives and to make effective requirements will be very important in driving the success of securing Syneos Health solutions.
