The Junior Chef will assist the Head Chef and kitchen team in daily food preparation, baking, plating, and kitchen operations. The role requires discipline, hygiene, speed, and willingness to learn standard recipes and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of bakery and kitchen items as per standard recipes
- Follow instructions from Head Chef / Sous Chef
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times
- Handle basic baking, prep work, and assembling of products
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products
- Assist in stock usage and minimize wastage
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and tools
- Support in packing, labeling, and order preparation
- Follow SOPs, quality standards, and kitchen discipline
- Assist during bulk orders, festivals, and peak hours
