Role and Responsibilities:
· Study and understand project-level functional and technical requirements and document the same.
· Design/develop PLC and HMI programs to process Digital inputs, Analog inputs, and perform data handling (Ascii / binary), interface devices using RS-232, RS-485, TCP/IP using industry-standard protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet IP etc.
· Design and implement training for Junior PLC Programmers and Field Engineers
· Own troubleshooting of software-related issues, follow-up activities to enable daily success
· Develop in-line documentation for code, user manuals, and help files.
· Research, develop, and Prototype new technologies and applications
· Visit customer sites for pre-sales activities, installation support, commissioning, troubleshooting, requirement understanding, and technical discussions when required.
Technical Competencies:
· IEC 1131-3 programming language, with Date & time, Strings, Array Handling, Serial, RS485, Modbus, Profinet interfaces.
· Expertise in Siemens S7-1200 Series, FX 5U series
· Schneider SCU, Weintek HMI, GOC Programming
· Energy meter Integration, Gauge integration
· 1:1&1:2 OEE programs Schneider, OEE & AWOC in GOC Hardware
· 1:1&1:2 OEE programs Siemens +Weintek, Siemens KTP700 HMI
· 1:1. 1:2 &1:3 AWOC programs in Siemens +Weintek, Schneider
· Weintek HMI programming for OEE, Biometric,
· Special projects, PLC to PLC communication, PLC to 3rd party device communication like Scanner Integration (modbus, Profinet, Serial)
· New PLC developments for custom projects onsite (Ex Mitsubishi, Siemens, AB, ABB, Delta High end PLC communication and Data collection)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Mechatronics, or Instrumentation.
