Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in testing electronic and electromechanical components and products. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, along with in-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of products through rigorous testing, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the testing and validation of electronic and electromechanical components and products.
- Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, procedures, and documentation for product testing.
- Conduct root cause analysis and failure investigations for quality issues.
- Ensure products meet regulatory and internal quality standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze test data to identify areas for process optimization.
- Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 quality system documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on test results and present findings to senior management.
- Provide support for audits, inspections, and other quality-related assessments.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on quality assurance best practices.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in testing electronic and electromechanical components/products.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and standards.
- Proficiency in quality testing tools, techniques, and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automation testing tools.
- Knowledge of other industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, etc.).
- Certification in quality management or related fields.
