Job Title : Senior Manager - Non-Market Risk

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Non-Market Risk activities within the Institutional Equity Division.
- Strengthen and standardize risk management processes and drive automation initiatives.
- Develop and enhance control frameworks to identify and mitigate operational and compliance risks.
- Review policy breaches, investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor risk controls and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Finance, Technology, and Front Office teams.
- Support migration and transition of operational activities to local teams.
- Prepare management reports highlighting risks, trends, regulatory updates, and process improvements.
- Participate in regional projects, process enhancements, and strategic risk initiatives.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to team members while fostering a strong risk culture.
- Manage stakeholder communication and escalate critical risk issues appropriately.
- Support fraud investigations, compliance reviews, and operational risk assessments.
Requisites
- Chartered Accountant / CFA / FRM / MBA or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of Risk Management, Controls, Compliance, and Operational Risk.
- Knowledge of Equities markets and financial services regulations.
- Experience in risk investigations, root-cause analysis, and control assessments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and high-priority projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with AI tools and automation initiatives is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and stakeholder management abilities.
