Job Summary
An Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, processing payments and receipts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and record journal entries, vouchers, and ledger postings.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Process vendor payments and customer receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash books, and general ledgers.
- Prepare invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare GST/VAT, TDS, and other statutory compliance reports as applicable.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management review.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding accounting matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CA Inter, CMA Inter, or ACCA (preferred but not mandatory).
- 1–5 years of accounting experience.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as TallyPrime, SAP ERP, or Oracle NetSuite.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy of accounting records.
- Timely completion of reconciliations.
- Collection efficiency and outstanding receivables management.
- Compliance with statutory filing deadlines.
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Audit observations and resolution rate.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
