A security guard protects property, personnel, and assets by maintaining a highly visible presence, enforcing safety regulations, and deterring illegal or unauthorized activities. They monitor premises, control access points, and serve as the first responder during emergencies and security breaches.
Responsibilities
- Patrolling: Conduct routine foot or vehicle patrols of the interior and exterior to ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure.
- Access Control: Monitor entry points, verify visitor credentials, issue passes, and prevent unauthorized individuals or vehicles from entering.
- Monitoring: Operate and oversee surveillance cameras (CCTV), alarm systems, and building controls to detect suspicious activity.
- Incident Response: Act as the first responder to alarms, disturbances, and medical emergencies, coordinating with local police, fire, and medical departments as needed.
- Reporting: Document daily activities, irregularities, and detailed incident reports regarding theft, property damage, or safety hazards
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Vigilance & Observation: Strong attention to detail to quickly spot anomalies or potential threats.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for writing clear reports and directing or de-escalating conflicts with visitors and staff.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for long shifts, often in various weather conditions.
- Requirements: High school diploma or GED, a clean background check, and valid state-issued security guard licenses or guard cards. First aid and CPR certifications are frequently required
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
