Reporting To: Sales Director / General Manager – Sales
Location: Head Office (HO), with extensive travel to field locations as and when required.
Job Purpose
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and supporting the day-to-day functioning of the field sales team. The role focuses on ensuring discipline, accurate reporting, attendance, field productivity, compliance with company policies, and verification of sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the movement and daily activities of field sales personnel.
- Ensure all field activities are accurately recorded in Field Assist or any Sales Force Automation (SFA)/CRM platform adopted by the Company.
- Maintain and verify daily attendance through approved systems.
- Conduct random verification through physical market visits, phone calls, video calls, GPS validation, and digital verification with Super Stockists, Distributors, Retailers, HoReCa customers, and other trade partners.
- Travel extensively to conduct surprise market audits and field inspections.
- Coordinate with vendors and agencies for marketing materials, branding materials, POS materials, uniforms, sales kits, and other field resources.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring reports, exception reports, and Sales MIS for management.
- Identify and report false reporting, policy violations, unethical practices, or non-compliance immediately.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain discipline within the sales team.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA (Marketing) preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in FMCG Sales Operations, Sales Coordination, Sales Supervision, or Field Sales Monitoring.
- Experience in Sales Force Automation (SFA)/CRM platforms will be an added advantage.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of SFA/CRM applications.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned markets.
