As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. This role requires building and managing data pipelines that facilitate smooth data flow across various systems. The position also includes ensuring the accuracy and quality of data while implementing processes to extract, transform, and load data efficiently. Collaboration with different teams to deploy data solutions and continuous monitoring of data systems to optimize performance are integral parts of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures to support business needs.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of data workflows and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of data engineering practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Strong experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices for data warehousing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues effectively.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
- Experience with scripting and automation to streamline data workflows.

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
