Position Overview
The Institution invites applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Assistant Professor – computer science and engineering. The role involves teaching, mentoring, research, and academic administration in line with Anna University regulations and institutional objectives.
Qualifications (As per Anna University Norms)
Essential Qualifications:
- UG: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology (or equivalent) - Mandatory
- PG: M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology (or relevant specialization) - Mandatory
- Ph.D.:
- Candidates with Ph.D. in relevant domain are preferred
- Candidates pursuing Ph.D. will be given due consideration as per norms
Academic Requirements:
- First Class or equivalent at either UG or PG level
- Qualifications must be from AICTE / UGC / Anna University-approved institutions
Experience
- Freshers with strong interest / academic background may apply
- 1–5 years of teaching experience in Engineering Colleges preferred
- Industry experience relevant to CSE domains will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Handle undergraduate and postgraduate CSE courses as allotted
- Prepare lesson plans, course files, question banks, and teaching materials
- Deliver high-quality classroom instruction and practical/lab sessions
Student Mentoring
- Act as Class Advisor / Mentor
- Guide students in academic projects, internships, and career pathways
- Support student participation in hackathons, coding contests, and technical clubs
Research & Professional Development
- Publish research papers in reputed journals and conferences
- Participate in FDPs, workshops, and seminars
- Assist in proposal writing for funded research projects (desirable)
Academic Administration
- Support departmental and institutional academic activities
- Contribute to NAAC / NBA / IQAC documentation as required
- Participate in examination duties, admissions, and accreditation processes
Preferred Skill Sets
- Strong foundation in core CSE subjects (DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, OOP, etc.)
- Exposure to emerging areas such as:
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
- Data Science & Analytics
- Cloud Computing
- Cyber Security
- Internet of Things (IoT)
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in modern teaching tools and LMS platforms
Local Preference
- Candidates residing in Tiruttani, Tiruvallur, Arakkonam, Nagari, or nearby areas will be preferred
- Willingness to commute or relocate locally is essential
Compensation
- Commensurate with qualifications, experience, and institutional policies

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
