Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Collection Specialist with 2+ years of hands-on experience in customer collections, account reconciliation, and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, experience working with aging reports, and the ability to reduce DSO while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Role & responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end AR collections for assigned customer accounts
- Follow up with customers via email and calls for timely payment collection
- Analyze and work on aging reports (current, 30/60/90+ days)
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment disputes in coordination with internal teams
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accurate AR balances
- Apply customer payments and track unapplied cash
- Maintain detailed collection notes and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and SOX controls
- Meet monthly collection targets and DSO reduction goal
Preferred candidate profile
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable / AR Collections
- Strong understanding of AR processes, invoicing, and cash application
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to handle US customers professionally
- Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in US accounting processes
- Prior exposure to BPO / Shared Services environment
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit support

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
