Qualification
- B.Tech / B.E. – Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute – 70% ++
- MBA – Finance from a reputed business school – 70% ++
- Additional certification in Data Analytics / Business Analytics / Advanced Excel / Power BI / SQL will be preferred
Experience
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing / steel / metals / heavy engineering / process industry environment.
Role Summary
The Executive Assistant to Chairman will work closely with the Chairman to support strategic decision-making, business reviews, operational follow-ups, financial analysis, project monitoring, and cross-functional coordination across business units.
The role requires a strong techno-commercial mindset with the ability to understand manufacturing operations, financial numbers, business performance, project status, and management priorities. The incumbent should be highly analytical, confidential, structured, and capable of preparing data-driven insights for leadership review.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Support
- Support the Chairman in tracking key strategic initiatives across plant operations, commercial, finance, projects, HR, sales, and corporate functions.
- Prepare executive summaries, business notes, review dashboards, and decision briefs.
- Coordinate with Functional Heads / Plant Heads / Business Leaders for status updates and action closure.
- Track key business priorities and provide timely reminders, escalations, and progress updates.
2. Business & Financial Analysis
- Analyse operational and financial data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports on production, sales, EBITDA, cost, working capital, inventory, procurement, power cost, logistics, and project performance.
- Support Chairman’s review meetings through financial benchmarking and variance analysis.
- Convert raw data into meaningful management insights.
3. Manufacturing & Operations Review
- Understand key manufacturing parameters such as production efficiency, plant utilization, yield, energy consumption, downtime, maintenance cost, and raw material consumption.
- Prepare review notes on plant performance and highlight areas requiring management attention.
- Coordinate with plant teams for operational MIS, project updates, bottleneck analysis, and improvement action plans.
4. Data Analytics & Dashboard Preparation
- Create dashboards using Advanced Excel / Power BI / MIS tools for Chairman’s review.
- Prepare monthly and weekly business performance dashboards.
- Automate repetitive reports wherever possible.
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.
- Use analytics to support decision-making in cost optimization, productivity, procurement, sales, and financial performance.
5. Meeting Coordination & Action Tracking
- Prepare agenda, notes, minutes of meetings, and action trackers for Chairman-led reviews.
- Follow up with concerned departments for timely closure of action points.
- Maintain a structured tracker for business commitments, deadlines, approvals, and pending issues.
- Ensure meetings are supported with proper data, background notes, and decision points.
6. Project Monitoring
- Track ongoing expansion, capex, process improvement, digital transformation, and cost optimization projects.
- Monitor project timelines, budget status, key milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Prepare project review dashboards for Chairman.
- Follow up with project owners for deviations and corrective actions.
7. Communication & Documentation
- Draft professional emails, management notes, presentations, internal communications, and business reports.
- Prepare concise briefing papers and executive summaries.
- Maintain confidential records, business documents, and leadership correspondence.
- Ensure communication is clear, factual, structured, and leadership-ready.
8. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a coordination point between Chairman’s Office and departments such as Operations, Finance, Commercial, Projects, HR, Sales, Legal, and Administration.
- Facilitate timely information flow and issue resolution.
- Ensure alignment of departments with Chairman’s priorities and timelines.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
