Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Farm Supervisor to manage and oversee daily operations of a coconut and lemon farm. The candidate should have hands-on experience in plantation management, irrigation, harvesting, and labor supervision to ensure high productivity and quality yield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day activities of farm workers
- Plan and manage coconut and lemon cultivation cycles
- Oversee irrigation systems (drip irrigation preferred)
- Monitor plant health, pest control, and fertilizer application
- Ensure timely harvesting and post-harvest handling
- Maintain farm records (yield, labor, expenses, inventory)
- Manage pruning, weeding, and soil care activities
- Ensure proper maintenance of farm equipment and tools
- Coordinate with vendors for fertilizers, pesticides, and supplies
- Implement best agricultural practices to improve yield and quality
Requirements:
- Minimum 0.6–2 years of experience in coconut and/or lemon farm management
- Practical knowledge of plantation farming and irrigation methods
- Experience in pest and disease control for coconut and citrus crops
- Ability to handle and supervise farm labor teams
- Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
- Willingness to work in farm/outdoor conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Agriculture or related field
- Experience in drip irrigation systems
- Knowledge of organic or sustainable farming practices
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
