Location: Pune (Fabrication Unit)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Purchase Engineer to manage and track daily procurement requirements, vendor follow-ups, purchase order creation, and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of fabrication industry materials, painting specifications, and steel grades (MS/SS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Track daily purchase requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Follow up with vendors for material delivery and compliance.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate transport, loading, and unloading activities.
- Manage procurement of raw materials including MS plates, SS plates, structural steel, pipe fittings, consumables, and machine maintenance items.
- Ensure adherence to painting specifications and fabrication standards.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase documentation, and audit-ready files.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchase within the fabrication/manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of steel grades, fabrication consumables, and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software.
