A Commis Chef ( all cuisine ) is responsible for supporting the kitchen team in food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations while following company standards and recipes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior chefs in food preparation and cooking.
- Prepare ingredients such as chopping vegetables, marinating, and portioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
- Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure proper storage of food items as per food safety standards.
- Support in stock handling and inventory management.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly.
- Maintain discipline and teamwork during operations.
- Ensure timely preparation of dishes during service hours.
- Follow all company SOPs and kitchen safety standards.
