Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and self-driven Sales Engineer to support business growth for Valmet (South India) and Pneumatrol (Pan India). The candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing customer relationships, generating enquiries, and supporting sales activities across various industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical understanding of industrial products and be willing to travel extensively to meet customers, conduct site visits, and support business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Generate new business opportunities through customer visits and market development activities.
- Develop relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and end-user industries.
- Identify customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tenders.
- Support order closure and revenue achievement targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct regular customer meetings and product presentations.
- Handle customer queries and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.
Market Development
- Identify opportunities within industries such as:
- Pulp & Paper
- Power
- Water & Wastewater
- Chemical
- Petrochemical
- Steel
- Cement
- General Manufacturing
Coordination & Reporting
- Maintain sales pipeline and customer database.
- Prepare visit reports, sales forecasts, and activity reports.
- Coordinate with application, engineering, and service teams.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of Valves, Actuators, Pneumatic Systems, Instrumentation, or Industrial Automation products.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned territories.
Educational Qualification
- BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering disciplines.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in Industrial Sales, Technical Sales, Business Development, Automation, Instrumentation, Valves, Pneumatics, or Process Industry products.
- Freshers with strong technical aptitude and industrial exposure may also be considered for junior roles.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
