Role and Responsibilities
- Own program P&L and delivery timelines for assigned customer accounts/products, from quote handoff through NPI, ramp, and volume production
- Drive NPI schedules — BOM readiness, DFM reviews, tooling, first article inspection, pilot builds — to hit customer launch dates
- Manage supplier and component lead-time risk for sole-sourced or long-lead parts; work with procurement on advance payment terms, safety stock, and dual-sourcing strategies
- Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, procurement, planning, and logistics to resolve build blockers
- Track program budgets, margins, and cost variances; flag and resolve scope creep or cost overruns
- Manage customer-facing communication: program reviews, escalations, change orders, and forecast/demand planning discussions
- Own risk registers and mitigation plans for schedule, supply, and quality risks
- Drive root-cause and corrective action closure on program-impacting quality or delivery issues
- Support new business development: RFQ response coordination, feasibility input, costing support for investor or customer pitches
- Ensure compliance with export/import regulations, customs documentation, and trade compliance requirements for cross-border shipments
- Mentor junior project coordinators/PMs
- Customer perception management and maintain customer satisfaction
- Obsolescence (product and part) management
- Co-ordinate with customers for on-time payments
Qualifications and Education Requirements
1. B.Tech/ BE in ECE/EEE. with min. 0- 4 years’ experience in EMS/ manufacturing field
2. MBA is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Managing a team, Leadership qualities
- Proven track record managing NPI programs from design transfer to volume production
- Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals — sole-source risk, lead-time management, import/export compliance, freight/logistics tradeoffs
- Experience managing supplier negotiations (payment terms, pricing, capacity commitments)
- PMP or Six Sigma certification preferred
Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
