About the Role
Evara Fine Dine & Bar is seeking a professional, attentive, and service-oriented Waitress to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests. The ideal candidate should be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and take pride in providing warm, personalized, and efficient service in a fine-dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Present menus, explain dishes, ingredients, and daily specials, and make appropriate food and beverage recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages according to Evara's service standards.
- Ensure tables are set, clean, and properly maintained before, during, and after service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, and hostess team to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Upsell menu items, signature dishes, desserts, and beverages to enhance the guest experience.
- Process bills and payments accurately while following restaurant procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including mise en place, side stations, and inventory of service equipment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the highest standards of hospitality at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Waitress, Server, or Food & Beverage Associate is preferred.
- Experience in a fine-dining restaurant or hotel is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Marathi is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of food, beverages, wines, and service etiquette is preferred.
- Positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
