Roles & Responsibilities
1. Reporting & Cost Management
- Expense Tracking: Maintain and manage comprehensive logs of monthly logistics and freight expenses, ensuring accurate billing and zero cost leakages.
- Commercial Proposals: Analyze and prepare commercial comparison matrices for all logistics service providers and transporters to support data-backed vendor selection.
- MIS Ownership: Generate weekly and monthly logistics performance reports (turnaround times, cost-per-kg, and delivery success rates) for management review.
2. Strategic Carrier Allocation
- Pin-Code Mapping: Establish and maintain a precise pin-code matrix to allocate shipments to the most efficient and cost-effective transporters based on their regional strengths.
- Routing Optimization: Continuously evaluate transporter performance across lanes to dynamic-shift volume toward high-performing partners.
3. Execution & Delivery Tracking
- End-to-End Tracking: Monitor outbound shipments daily from the warehouse until final delivery, proactively resolving transit delays.
- TAT Assurance: Coordinate directly with transport partners to enforce strict turnaround time (TAT) compliance and minimize delivery failures.
- Proof of Delivery (POD): Oversee the timely retrieval and verification of Proof of Delivery documents from logistics partners.
Qualifications & Key Skills
- Experience: 2–4 years of core experience in logistics coordination, freight management, or supply chain operations.
- Location: Based in or willing to commute to Noida.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Data sorting, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is mandatory. Familiarity with ERP systems (like SAP) and transport management tools is highly preferred.
- Analytical Ability: Strong comfort with numbers—specifically for auditing invoices and comparing multi-vendor commercial proposals.
- Communication: Clear, firm, and direct communication skills to manage external transporters and coordinate internally with warehouse and sales teams.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
