About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable HR Consultant with strong understanding of the IT industry. The candidate will support HR operations, IT hiring, employee engagement, and compliance while working closely with technical teams and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for IT roles (Developers, Designers, QA, DevOps, etc.)
- Understand IT job requirements, technologies, and skill sets
- Coordinate with technical hiring managers to identify talent needs
- Screen IT profiles, schedule technical interviews, and manage candidate communication
- Support onboarding and induction of IT professionals
- Maintain HR records, employee data, and documentation
- Address employee queries related to HR policies and benefits
- Assist in performance management and appraisal processes
- Support payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Contribute to employee engagement and retention strategies
- Support training, upskilling, and development initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 0.6 to 3.6 years of experience in HR or HR consultancy
- Strong knowledge of IT companies, IT roles, and technical hiring processes
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and IT terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple hiring requirements simultaneously
- Proficient in MS Office and HR tools/ATS
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in IT recruitment or IT HR consulting
- Knowledge of labor laws applicable to IT companies
- Experience working with fast-paced IT environments
