Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our Production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling electrical panel enclosures and sheet metal components according to engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and approved work instructions while ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical panel enclosures, doors, mounting plates, partitions, covers, and other sheet metal components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Verify part numbers, material codes, and components before assembly.
- Ensure correct alignment, fastening, and structural integrity of assembled products.
- Perform self-inspection to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Report material shortages, quality issues, or drawing discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Achieve daily production targets while minimizing defects and rework.
- Handle components carefully and maintain proper material traceability.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace by following 5S practices.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in Electrical Panel Enclosure, Sheet Metal, Switchgear, Control Panel, or related manufacturing industry
- Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with sheet metal components and enclosure assemblies.
- Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Understanding of quality inspection methods.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in Electrical Panel Enclosure Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
