Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced BI Developer to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that deliver actionable insights and support strategic business decisions.
This role requires someone who can go beyond creating dashboards and build intuitive, business-focused analytics solutions that help stakeholders make informed decisions. The candidate should be comfortable taking requirements from initial discussions through ETL/ELT, data modeling, SQL development, and visualization.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop intuitive, insightful dashboards and BI reports.
- Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
- Take requirements from discussion through ETL/ELT, data modeling, and visualization.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, including FP&A leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Define and document KPIs, metrics, and data definitions.
- Develop and maintain robust SQL queries, ETL processes, data models, and reporting solutions.
- Work with MySQL and NoSQL databases to build scalable BI pipelines and data objects.
- Build reusable, scalable, and performance-optimized reports and data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, governance, and reliability across BI platforms.
- Optimize query performance and manage data warehouse efficiency and cost.
- Support data storytelling and tailor dashboards based on different user personas such as executives, analysts, and operations teams.
- Conduct user demonstrations, provide training, and support self-service BI adoption.
- Work independently with US-based business and technology teams.
- Collaborate effectively with teams working across CST/US time zones.
Required Skills & CompetenciesBI & Data Visualization
- Strong hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools such as Looker, Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities.
- Ability to design dashboards for different business audiences.
- Experience working with executive-level reporting and analytics.
SQL & Data Warehousing
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture.
- Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of partitioning and clustering.
- Strong experience with query performance and cost optimization.
- Ability to balance BI-layer modeling with upstream ETL/ELT transformations.
Data Engineering & Integration
- Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with database queries, data modeling, and data integration.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases.
- Ability to develop reusable and scalable data objects.
Business & Stakeholder Management
- Strong requirements-gathering and documentation skills.
- Experience conducting user demos and stakeholder presentations.
- Ability to work directly with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Experience with Looker API.
- Knowledge of LookML.

- Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as:

- Experience with dbt and modern ELT/data transformation frameworks.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in BI development, data visualization, and database integration.
- Progressive experience in designing and delivering BI solutions.
- Proven experience working with C-level executives on analytics and reporting requirements.
- Exposure to accounting/bookkeeping processes and ability to support FP&A reporting needs.
- Previous experience in Media & Advertising or related industries is preferred.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
