As a Head – Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation (EC&I), you will lead a team of engineers supporting the development of Aeroderivative Gas Turbines within Siemens Energy’s Distributed Gas Services business. You will provide technical leadership, drive engineering excellence, and ensure the successful delivery of EC&I solutions across development programs.
Your role will combine people leadership, technical governance, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring your team delivers high-quality engineering solutions while supporting business growth and innovation.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of EC&I engineers, ensuring effective resource planning, performance management, and technical capability development.

Provide technical oversight for the design, development, and integration of electrical, controls, and instrumentation systems for gas turbines.

Ensure engineering deliverables comply with global standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.

Collaborate with product development, project management, quality, and global engineering teams to execute projects successfully.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes, productivity, and project delivery.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.

12–15 years of experience in EC&I engineering within the power generation, oil & gas, gas turbine, or turbomachinery industry, including 3–5 years in an engineering leadership role.

Strong technical expertise in gas turbine control systems, PLCs, DCS, SCADA, instrumentation systems, and electrical design.

Experience developing control philosophies, system architectures, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation specifications.

Proven people management experience, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and resource planning.

Strong project execution, stakeholder management, risk management, and quality assurance experience.

Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills in a global and matrix organization.

Chartered Engineer (CEng), Professional Engineer (PE), or equivalent certification is an advantage.
You will be part of the Aeroderivative Gas Turbines Core Development organization, leading the EC&I team responsible for delivering innovative and reliable engineering solutions for gas turbine products. The team works closely with global engineering, product assurance, and project teams to support product development and technology advancement.
