A Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor manages the daily operations of restaurants, bars, or banquet spaces .
They lead service teams, ensure customer satisfaction, enforce health and safety standards, and assist management with staff scheduling, inventory control, and financial reporting
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Training
- Conduct daily shift briefings to communicate specials, VIP guests, and service goals.
- Train, mentor, and coach Front of House (FOH) staff on menu knowledge and service standards.
- Create shift schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours and special events.
Operational Oversight
- Manage table setups, side-stations, and opening/closing procedures.
- Act as a floor manager or expediter during busy periods to ensure smooth communication between the kitchen and serving staff.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and preparation to ensure brand standards are met.
Guest Relations
- Welcome guests, assist with seating, and ensure an exceptional dining experience.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Collect guest feedback and share it with the restaurant manager to improve operations.
Inventory & Financial Administration
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for food, beverages, and dining supplies.
- Track daily sales, control waste, and verify cash handling and Point of Sale (POS) transactions.
- Assist with budgeting, ordering, and invoice processing.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
