About the Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Interior Design Intern to support our design team in creating innovative and functional residential interior spaces. The intern will gain practical exposure to client interactions, space planning, design development, site coordination, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in preparing interior design concepts and presentations.
- Develop mood boards, material boards, and furniture layouts.
- Prepare 2D layouts using AutoCAD.
- Create 3D models and realistic renders using SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, or similar software.
- Assist in preparing working drawings and detailed design documentation.
- Visit project sites for measurements and progress reviews.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and execution teams.
- Research the latest interior design trends, materials, finishes, and products.
- Support in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities), quotations, and material specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with client requirements, timelines, and company quality standards.
- Maintain project files, drawings, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Diploma in:
- Interior Design
- Architecture
- Interior Architecture
- Fine Arts (Interior Design)
- Final-year students are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of interior design principles and space planning.
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, or Revit is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong creativity and visualization skills.
- Good communication and presentation abilities.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of modular kitchens and wardrobes.
- Understanding of residential interior execution.
- Basic knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture.
