- Design and automate Tanzu deployments, upgrades, and patching using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Monitor platform performance, capacity, and security; drive proactive improvements and incident resolution.
- Partner with application teams to containerize workloads, optimize microservices, and enable self-service capabilities.
- Establish and enforce governance, compliance, and cost-optimization policies across multiple environments.
- Stay current on emerging cloud technologies, contributing to architectural roadmaps and innovation initiatives.
Requirements:

- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes concepts (pods, services, ingress, CRDs) and container runtimes such as Docker or containerd.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven leadership abilities—mentoring engineers, driving technical decisions, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have:
- VMware Certified Professional – Application Modernization (VCP-AM) or comparable Tanzu certifications.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- Experience migrating legacy monolithic applications to microservices or cloud-native architectures.
- Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Bash for automation and tooling development.
- Exposure to observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or Tanzu Observability.
