Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified TGT English Teacher. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging and student-centric learning environment that fosters language proficiency, critical thinking, and a love for literature.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with academic objectives.
- Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Encourage participation in literary activities such as debates, elocution, creative writing, quizzes, and drama.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and development.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning and overall school development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English (B.A./M.A. English).
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- CTET/State TET qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and strong academic credentials may also apply.
Skills Required
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, literature, and writing skills.
- Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in using Smart Boards, MS Office, and digital teaching platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor students.
