Lab Billing – Eligibility & Authorization / AR Specialist Location: Chandigarh, India Experience: 2–3 Years Salary: ₹30,000–₹32,000 per month Job Type: Full-time We are looking for an experienced US Healthcare Lab Billing Specialist with strong knowledge of Eligibility, Prior Authorization, and AR Follow-up. Key Responsibilities Verify patient eligibility and insurance benefits for laboratory services. Check payer requirements, coverage, and authorization requirements. Handle prior authorization requests for lab tests and services. Review patient and insurance information for billing accuracy. Follow up on pending, unpaid, rejected, and denied claims. Perform AR follow-up with insurance companies. Investigate claim denials and take appropriate action for correction/resubmission. Communicate with insurance payers regarding claim status and reimbursement. Maintain accurate records and update billing/AR reports. Coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve billing and authorization issues. Meet daily productivity, quality, and turnaround-time requirements. Requirements 2–3 years of experience in US Lab Billing preferred. Hands-on experience with Eligibility, Authorization, AR, Claims & Denials. Good understanding of US healthcare insurance and laboratory billing processes. Strong communication, analytical, and follow-up skills. Good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
