Mechanical Design Engineer Intern
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer Intern who is interested in CAD design, mechanical engineering, and product development. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience by working on real-time engineering projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.
The position includes a 3-month probation period, during which candidates will be evaluated based on their technical skills, learning ability, work quality, and overall performance.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify mechanical designs using Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Develop 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Assist in mechanical product design and development activities.
- Support senior engineers in design improvements and modifications.
- Prepare and update technical drawings and design documentation.
- Assist with prototype development and design-related tasks.
- Apply basic mechanical engineering principles to real-world projects.
- Learn and follow company design standards and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design and CAD tools.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Fusion 360 is preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical components, drawings, and manufacturing processes.
- Good learning ability and willingness to develop technical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Candidates must have their own laptop suitable for CAD/design work.
Internship & Compensation
Probation Period: 3 Months
Probation Salary: ₹4,000 – ₹6,000 per month, depending on skills and performance.
During the probation period, candidates will receive practical training and work on real-time engineering projects. Performance will be reviewed throughout the probation period.
Full-Time Opportunity
Candidates who successfully complete the probation period and demonstrate good performance may be offered a full-time Mechanical Design Engineer position.
Expected Full-Time Salary: ₹12,000+ per month, depending on performance, skills, and experience.
The final salary and employment terms will be discussed with selected candidates after successful completion of the probation period.
