ABOUT THE ROLE
This internship puts you on real wedding shoots and inside our studio's photography workflow — from pre-wedding recces to on-day shooting support to post-shoot handling. It's built for someone who wants to learn wedding photography the way it's actually practiced at a professional level, not in theory.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
— Assist lead and senior photographers on-site during shoots and weddings.
— Support equipment setup, lighting, and shot logistics before and during events.
— Help manage and organize raw shoot data for handover to the editing team.
— Observe and learn Ombre's approach to composition, candid storytelling, and client handling on-site.
— Travel with the team for outstation and multi-day weddings as required.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
— A genuine interest in photography — a personal portfolio, coursework, or self-taught work is welcome.
— Basic understanding of camera settings, composition, and lighting fundamentals.
— Physically comfortable with long, active shoot days and travel.
— A calm, professional manner around clients and guests at high-stakes events.
— Willingness to learn on the job and take direction from senior photographers.
WORK DETAILS
All camera and shoot equipment is provided by Ombre.
6-day work week, bi-weekly (2 Saturdays off every month). Reporting hours are fixed but flexible in practice — this is a deliverable-driven, deadline-first environment.
Travel to wedding locations (including outstation, multi-day events) should be expected as a core part of this internship.
On-site only for the first year. Remote/hybrid work may be considered after 12 months, based on role and performance.
