Role Overview
We are looking for a talented SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in Controlling (CO) as the primary skill and working knowledge of FI. The candidate will play a key role in delivering SAP S/4 HANA finance solutions, supporting business processes, and ensuring optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert in SAP CO (primary) and FI modules.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4 HANA functional designs, especially in Controlling.
- Configure and enhance CO modules in alignment with business needs.
- Experience in handling complex SAP CO business processes and product costing solutions across multiple manufacturing and project-based scenarios.
- Support cross-functional integration with modules such as FI, MM, SD, and PS.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Handle production support issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation and deployment activities, including Go-Live support.
- Contribute to financial closing processes and continuous process improvements.
- Create SOPs, user manuals, and provide training to business users.
Technical Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP CO (Primary) with working knowledge of FI.
- Deep expertise in:
- CO: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA.
- Strong exposure to complex Product Costing scenarios including MTO (Make to Order), MTS (Make to Stock), ETO (Engineer to Order), PS (Project Systems), and CS (Customer Service) processes is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of:
- FI: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Finance.
- Exposure to Financial Closing, Cost allocation, and Intercompany processes.
- Knowledge of Fiori Apps and Launchpad configuration.
- Understanding of integration across SAP modules.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and implementation lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech/B.Com) or equivalent
- MBA / CA / CMA is an added advantage
