Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Draftsman to join our engineering team in CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in preparing HVAC shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for commercial, residential, and industrial projects using AutoCAD. Knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare HVAC layout, shop, and coordination drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop ducting layouts, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, ventilation, and equipment layouts.
- Prepare detailed sections, installation details, and schematic drawings.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Architectural teams to resolve clashes.
- Update drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, and design revisions.
- Prepare BOQ support drawings, quantity take-offs, and as-built drawings.
- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation as per project standards.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Working knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM (Preferred).
- Good understanding of HVAC systems including:
- Ducting
- Chilled Water Piping
- VRF Systems
- Ventilation Systems
- AHU, FCU, Chillers, Pumps
- Knowledge of MEP coordination and shop drawings.
- Ability to read engineering and architectural drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.
Qualification
- ITI Draftsman (Mechanical) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–6 years of relevant HVAC drafting experience.
