Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of all hotel facilities, equipment, and guest areas. This role involves preventive maintenance, prompt repair of issues, and coordination with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Maintain and repair guest rooms, public areas, kitchen equipment, and back‑of‑house facilities.
- Ensure proper functioning of safety systems (fire alarms, extinguishers, emergency lighting).
- Monitor energy usage and suggest improvements for efficiency.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of tools/spare parts.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Adhere to hotel safety standards and compliance with local regulations.
- Support housekeeping and front office teams with technical assistance when required.
- Uphold the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction by ensuring facilities are in excellent condition.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
