About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to support and coordinate logistics and transportation operations. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, hands-on logistics experience, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to manage operational activities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics and transportation operations.
- Maintain and develop relationships with transporters, vendors, and customers.
- Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare operational reports and data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
- Draft professional emails and communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.
- Assist in managing transportation costs and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth execution of shipments.
- Resolve operational issues and provide timely solutions.
- Support management in achieving business and operational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and service standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain Management.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (reports, formulas, data analysis, and operational tracking).
- Good contacts and working relationships with transporters and logistics service providers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong email drafting and business correspondence skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree (Graduate) is mandatory.
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English, Telugu, and Hindi.
- Knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics operations.
- Customer-oriented approach.
- Strong coordination and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience Required: 5+ Years
Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
