We are a fast-growing pharmacy group committed to delivering quality healthcare products and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team and support the day-to-day accounting operations of our pharmacy network.
Position Summary
The Accountant will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily accounting transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare and process sales, purchase, payment, and receipt vouchers.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash balances, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
- Verify invoices, purchase bills, and supporting documents.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- Process vendor payments and customer receipts.
- Maintain petty cash records and expense statements.
- Prepare GST-related data and support statutory compliance requirements.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Generate MIS reports and financial summaries as required by management.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Maintain proper filing of financial records and confidential documents.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations.
- Perform any other finance and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory.
- Additional qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or Tally will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in a pharmacy, retail, healthcare, FMCG, or distribution company will be preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally Prime, Zoho Books, Busy, Marg ERP, or similar accounting systems.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
- Ability to prepare financial reports and reconciliations.

Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and company standards.
