Job Description
"Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall Fleet Maintenance strategy, policies and SOPs.
- Lead maintenance activities for the complete fleet of trucks, trailers and heavy commercial vehicles.
- Ensure maximum fleet availability and minimum vehicle downtime.
- Establish preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
- Monitor breakdowns, repeated repairs and major failures.
- Analyze vehicle failure cases and ensure proper Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Control maintenance cost, spare parts cost, labour cost and external repair expenses.
- Prepare and control the annual maintenance budget.
- Monitor maintenance cost per KM / vehicle.
- Develop and maintain approved vendor, garage and service-center networks.
- Negotiate with OEMs, vendors, tyre companies, service centers and external workshops.
- Monitor tyre performance, tyre life and tyre cost/KM.
- Ensure proper warranty and claim recovery from OEMs/vendors.
- Review MIS reports and take corrective actions.
- Standardize maintenance processes across all branches.
- Ensure proper maintenance records through fleet/software systems.
- Conduct periodic workshop and vehicle audits.
- Develop long-term vehicle replacement and maintenance plans.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
