We are looking for a passionate WordPress Designer & Developer Intern who wants to build practical skills in WordPress development, website design, performance optimization, and SEO.
This internship is particularly suited to someone who enjoys experimenting with websites, learning new technologies, solving problems, and turning ideas into working digital experiences.
What You'll Learn & Work On
During the internship, you will get hands-on exposure to areas including:
WordPress Development
- Building and managing WordPress websites
- Working with WordPress themes and plugins
- Understanding WordPress structure, settings, templates, and content management
- Customizing WordPress websites according to project requirements
- Basic PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript concepts for WordPress customization
- Troubleshooting common WordPress issues
- Understanding website security and basic maintenance practices
Elementor & Gutenberg
- Creating responsive pages using Elementor
- Working with Elementor widgets, containers, templates, global styles, and responsive settings
- Customizing Elementor-based websites beyond basic drag-and-drop editing
- Working with the WordPress Gutenberg / Block Editor
- Creating and customizing Gutenberg blocks and page layouts
- Understanding when to use Elementor, Gutenberg, or custom development
- Improving website usability and consistency
Website Design & UI Implementation
- Converting design concepts into functional WordPress pages
- Creating responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Improving website navigation and user experience
- Working with typography, spacing, layouts, forms, buttons, and other UI elements
- Collaborating with designers and marketing team members
Website Speed & Performance
You will also learn how WordPress development decisions affect website performance.
Areas may include:
- Core Web Vitals
- Page-speed optimization
- Image optimization
- CSS and JavaScript optimization
- Plugin and theme performance
- Lazy loading and caching concepts
- Identifying common WordPress performance issues
- Understanding how website architecture impacts loading speed
SEO & Technical SEO
One of the key learning areas of this internship is understanding how a website should be built with SEO in mind from the beginning.
You may work on:
- On-page SEO implementation
- SEO-friendly website structures
- Technical SEO fundamentals
- Website architecture and internal linking
- Heading structure and semantic HTML
- Meta titles and descriptions
- Image optimization and alt text
- XML sitemaps and robots.txt
- Canonical URLs
- Indexing and crawlability
- Mobile-friendly implementation
- Core Web Vitals
- Structured data / Schema basics
- SEO-friendly URL structures
- Optimizing landing pages and blog pages for search visibility
The objective is not simply to learn how to "make a WordPress website," but to understand how to build a website that is fast, user-friendly, technically sound, and search-engine friendly.

- Has basic knowledge of WordPress
- Has some familiarity with Elementor or Gutenberg
- Is willing to learn HTML and CSS

- Can take feedback and improve their work
- Is willing to work on real projects and take responsibility for assigned tasks
Students and Freshers Welcome
Students, recent graduates, self-taught developers, and candidates building their first professional portfolio are welcome to apply.
A formal computer science or IT degree is not mandatory if you can demonstrate genuine interest and practical ability.
If you have built websites, experimented with WordPress, created Elementor pages, worked with Gutenberg, or have personal projects, we would love to see them.
Experience & Mentorship
You will have the opportunity to learn through practical work and guidance from professionals with 12+ years of industry experience across web development, WordPress, SEO, digital marketing, and technology.
The focus is on developing skills that can continue to be valuable beyond the internship.
You will not be expected to know everything on day one.
