Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PSR (Pharmaceutical Sales Representative) role based in Jabalpur. The PSR will visit doctors, clinics, and hospitals to promote assigned pharmaceutical products, share scientific and product information, and build strong professional relationships. The role includes planning daily field visits, meeting call targets, and ensuring regular follow-up with healthcare professionals. The PSR will gather market insights, track competitor activities, and provide feedback to the management team. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records of visits and sales, supporting product launches, and participating in internal trainings and meetings as required.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers.
- Ability to understand and convey basic medical, product, and scientific information in a clear and accurate manner.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, including planning field visits, managing routes, and meeting daily/weekly targets.
- Basic proficiency in using digital tools (such as email, spreadsheets, and reporting applications) for documentation and reporting.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with resilience, adaptability, and a customer-focused mindset.
- Preferred: Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare marketing is an advantage but not always mandatory.
- Educational background: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in the field in and around Jabalpur and to travel within the assigned territory as required.
