What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP & Laravel
- Build clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Design and integrate REST APIs
- Use Git (feature branches, pull requests, code reviews)
- Leverage AI coding tools like ChatGPT and Claude to improve development productivity
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Required Skills
5+ years of hands-on experience with PHP & Laravel
Strong knowledge of MVC architecture and Laravel ecosystem
Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
Proficiency in Git workflows and version control
Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
Experience with AI-assisted development tools
Strong understanding of CI/CD practices
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
Nice to Have
- Docker
- AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Unit testing and automated testing
- Agile/Scrum experience
