Job Title: PLC & Automation Maintenance Engineer
Location: Hinjewadi, Pune
Experience: 3+ Years
Salary: Up to ₹32,000 In-hand per month
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled PLC & Automation Maintenance Engineer responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving automation systems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and rectify machine breakdowns related to PLC, HMI, sensors, I/O modules, and communication networks.
Perform periodic backup of PLC, HMI, and drive programs and maintain proper backup records.
Verify and correct poka-yoke logic in machine control systems.
Support minor PLC/HMI program modifications to improve machine reliability and process control.
Assist the plant maintenance team in resolving automation-related production issues.
Maintain proper documentation of troubleshooting, backups, and modifications.
Ensure minimum downtime and quick response to breakdowns.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.)
Experience in HMI and SCADA systems
Understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, and I/O modules
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
Basic understanding of drives (VFD/Servo)
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation
