Position Overview: We are seeking a Project Coordinator: Signage to support and work with the NY Team. The ideal candidate will combine project management skills along with technical knowledge to handle a diverse range of projects. This role requires a deep understanding of Wayfinding Signage, ADA signage, Interior & Exterior Signage, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management: Develop project plans, set timelines, and allocate resources effectively to meet client objectives and deadlines.
- Outsourcing Coordination: Identify and onboard external vendors (for fabrication and install if required), negotiate contracts, and ensure their work aligns with project requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact between design teams, production floor, install team and clients, ensuring seamless operations.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards by reviewing designs, prototypes, and finished signage for compliance with brand guidelines and quality benchmarks.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability without compromising quality.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers, ensuring timely communication and avail competitive pricing.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects meet industry standards, local regulations, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management especially Signage or Retail Display Environment or Exhibition and Events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Engineering or Equivalent preferred along with PMP Certification.
- Excellent communication in English, and time management skills, with adaptability to fast-paced environments and strong ethical conduct
- Experience in the signage industry and knowledge of architectural scales, sections, plans, and elevations etc. is required.
- To be able to read Architectural Floor Plans and derive scope of work for signage.
- Ability to work with Google Suite’s, PlanSwift, ERP environment.
- Working knowledge of softwares like Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator and AutoCad.
