Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Production Line Engineer to manage and supervise LED lighting production operations. The candidate should have hands-on experience in LED luminaire manufacturing, assembly processes, production planning, quality control, manpower handling, and achieving daily production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete LED lighting production line operations.
- Supervise assembly of LED lights, including drivers, PCBs, wiring, diffusers, housings, and final products.
- Plan and achieve daily production targets.
- Monitor line efficiency, productivity, and production output.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and work instructions.
- Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Purchase, Quality, and Maintenance departments.
- Minimize rejection, rework, and production losses.
- Handle manpower allocation, shift planning, and team supervision.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure preventive maintenance coordination for production equipment and tools.
- Prepare daily production reports, line performance reports, and MIS.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and process improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of LED lighting manufacturing processes.
- Experience in LED Driver Assembly, PCB Assembly, Wiring, Final Assembly, Testing, and Packing.
- Knowledge of production planning and line balancing.
- Familiarity with production KPIs such as OEE, Productivity, Rejection, and Cycle Time.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Production, Mechanical, or a related discipline.
Preferred Candidate
- 5–7 years of experience in LED lighting manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under production targets and deadlines.
- Experience in handling a production team of 20–50 employees.
Pay: ₹13,617.14 - ₹48,435.39 per month
