Academic Background:-
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design / Textile Design / Apparel Production / Home Science (Clothing & Textiles).
Postgraduate degree in Fashion Studies or related fields preferred.
Diploma in Fashion/Textiles may be accepted with relevant teaching experience.
Professional Training:-
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Training in curriculum design, pedagogy, and classroom management.
Familiarity with CBSE vocational curriculum (Subject Code 837).
Skills & Competencies:-
Strong knowledge of fabrics, dyeing, printing, design fundamentals, product-making, and fashion history.
Ability to guide students in hands-on projects, portfolios, and creative assignments.
Competence in communication, ICT, entrepreneurship, and sustainability (green skills).
Skills in assessment: theory exams, practicals, viva voce, and project evaluation.
Creativity in designing engaging lessons and encouraging student innovation.
Experience:-
Prior teaching experience in fashion or vocational subjects at secondary/senior secondary level.
Industry exposure (fashion shows, textile workshops, internships) is highly valued.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
