About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support procurement of herbal and nutraceutical raw materials at Natura Ayur Science. This role involves vendor coordination, understanding raw material specifications, supporting sourcing activities, and ensuring timely procurement aligned with business requirements. Candidates with a Botany background and interest in the herbal or nutraceutical industry are encouraged to apply.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement of herbal and nutraceutical raw materials
- Understand raw material specifications, grades, and quality parameters
- Place purchase orders based on approved requirements
- Coordinate with sales team to understand market demand and material requirements
- Assist with price comparisons and basic vendor negotiations
- Track delivery schedules and follow up for timely supply
- Maintain procurement-related documentation and records
What We’re Looking For
- B.Sc. Botany / M.Sc. Botany preferred
- Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience
- Basic understanding of herbal, botanical, or nutraceutical raw materials
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to learn procurement and sourcing processes
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and documentation
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up ability
- Interest or exposure to herbal, nutraceutical, food supplement, or Ayurveda industries preferred
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods preferred
