Position: Sales Personnel – Simpson Genuine Parts (Hyderabad Region)
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Reporting To: Sales Manager / Business Head
Role Overview
The Sales Personnel will be responsible for developing and expanding the market for Simpson Genuine Parts across Hyderabad and surrounding regions. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and promoting the complete range of Simpson engine spare parts to dealers, workshops, fleet operators, OEMs, and industrial customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Promote and sell Simpson Genuine Parts to customers within the assigned territory.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify and develop new customers, dealers, distributors, and service centers.
- Expand market penetration for Simpson parts in automotive, industrial, marine, and power generation segments.
- Conduct regular customer visits and market surveys.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Provide technical and commercial support related to Simpson spare parts.
- Handle customer inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order follow-ups.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Collect market feedback and customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities for introducing new products and increasing market share.
Order Management & Coordination
- Coordinate with internal stores, logistics, and accounts teams for timely order processing and deliveries.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and support collections activities.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting and inventory planning.
Reporting
- Prepare daily visit reports and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain customer database and sales pipeline records.
- Provide regular updates on business opportunities and market developments.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of diesel engine spare parts and automotive components preferred.
- Ability to build dealer and customer networks.
- Self-motivated with a result-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in spare parts sales, automotive aftermarket sales, or industrial product sales.
- Experience in diesel engine parts sales will be an added advantage.
