- .Work closely with cross-functional teams including PPC, Production, Quality, Purchase, and Tool Room to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, specifications, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Manage multiple NPD projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to achieve development milestones.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation plans throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to establish, validate, and optimize production processes for new products.
- Conduct process capability studies and recommend improvements to enhance quality and productivity.
- Oversee product development, testing, validation, and PPAP activities to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Analyze test data, identify root causes, and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, and customer-specific requirements.
- Liaise with customers to understand product specifications and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with Purchase and other concerned departments for material selection, tooling development, and cost optimization.
- Identify opportunities for product innovation, value engineering, and cost reduction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, manufacturing technologies, materials, and automotive standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in New Product Development within the Automotive or Manufacturing Industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and product design.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and product development methodologies.
- Hands-on knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plan, and IATF 16949 requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong project management, communication, and team coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in product design optimization and cost reduction projects.
- Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Exposure to customer audits and new product launch activities.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
