Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) Engineer with 2–8 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in fatigue life assessment, crack propagation analysis, damage tolerance evaluation, and airframe structural analysis. The role involves performing fatigue and damage tolerance assessments, analyzing aircraft loads, conducting stress calculations, and ensuring compliance with aerospace structural integrity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) analysis for aerospace structures.
- Conduct fatigue life, crack growth, and damage tolerance assessments.
- Analyze aircraft loads, mission profiles, and spectrum generation.
- Perform stress concentration, static, and structural calculations.
- Support airframe structural analysis and certification activities.
- Prepare technical reports and validate engineering analysis.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–8 years of experience in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) analysis.
- Strong knowledge of fatigue design principles, crack propagation, and structural failure analysis.
- Hands-on experience with NASGRO, MSC NASTRAN, PATRAN, HyperMesh, and CATIA V5.
- Experience in airframe structural analysis and aerospace engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
