1. Vehicle Safety and Maintenance
- Daily walkaround checks: Inspect tyres, brakes, lights, mirrors, and fluid levels before setting off.
- Defect reporting: Document and report mechanical faults immediately to the transport manager.
- Roadworthiness: Ensure the vehicle meets all legal compliance guidelines before entering public roads.
- Willing to travel as per company requirement to deliver the vehicle.
2. Cargo and Load Security
- Load monitoring: Oversee the safe loading and offloading of cargo.
- Weight compliance: Ensure the vehicle is not overloaded overall or on specific axles.
- Cargo security: Use straps, chains, or bars to prevent the load from shifting or falling.
3. Route Planning and Logistics
- Route optimization: Plan safe paths avoiding low bridges, weight-restricted zones, and heavy congestion.
- Time management: Meet tight delivery windows while accounting for traffic and weather.
- Drop management: Organize and execute multi-drop sequences accurately throughout the day.
4. Legal Compliance and Documentation
- Logbook tracking: Keep accurate records of driving hours, rest breaks, and fuel usage.
- Delivery paperwork: Collect signatures on delivery notes, handling customs or hazardous goods (ADR) paperwork when required.
5. Professional and Customer Relations
- Customer service: Act as the professional, frontline face of the company at delivery depots.
- Safe driving: Operate defensively, respecting vulnerable road users like cyclists and pedestrians.
- Incident management: Follow company and legal procedures immediately if involved in a road accident.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
