Job Summary
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships with doctors, clinics, nursing homes, diagnostic centers, corporates, insurance companies, NGOs, schools, and other referral sources to promote the hospital's services. The role focuses on increasing patient referrals, enhancing the hospital's brand presence, and developing strategic partnerships through regular field visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits to pediatricians, gynecologists, general physicians, clinics, nursing homes, diagnostic centers, and other healthcare providers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referring doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Promote the hospital's Mother & Child Care services, including Pediatrics, Neonatology (NICU), Obstetrics & Gynecology, Vaccination, Laboratory, Pharmacy, and Diagnostic Services.
- Generate patient referrals by strengthening referral networks and identifying new business opportunities.
- Meet monthly and quarterly referral and business development targets.
- Organize doctor meetings, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education programs), awareness campaigns, health camps, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with schools, corporates, industries, NGOs, and community organizations for health awareness programs and corporate tie-ups.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with referral partners to ensure long-term relationships.
- Resolve referral partner concerns promptly and coordinate with internal departments for seamless patient care.
- Collect market intelligence regarding competitor hospitals, referral trends, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Submit daily field visit reports, referral reports, and weekly activity updates to management.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional materials, branding activities, and digital campaigns.
- Assist in organizing hospital events, community outreach programs, and public awareness initiatives.
- Ensure professional representation of the hospital at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality of hospital information and patient data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Relations, or any related field.
- MBA/MHA will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in hospital marketing, healthcare business development, or public relations.
- Experience in a Mother & Child Care Hospital will be preferred.

Working Conditions
- Primarily field-based role involving daily travel.
- Must be willing to travel within the assigned territory.
- May be required to work on weekends, hospital events, health camps, and promotional activities as per business requirements.
- A valid driving license and two-wheeler/four-wheeler will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
